The Wonderful Thing About Teggie...

Teggie feels better after a severe reaction to her immunization boosters on Saturday, which landed her in the puppy hospital with red, droopy ears, swollen eyelids and lips and hives on her tummy! Her ears are up now, and she is feeling bouncy again, back to her trouncy Teggie self.

The wonderful thing about Teggies
Is Teggies are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!
But the most wonderful thing about Teggies
Is I'm the only one!
(adapted from "Tigger's Song" written by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman)

After our move, Teggie enjoyed helping me clean our new home by pushing the toilet brush around the bathroom. (Good thing it's a new brush!)

Thank you to the wonderful Corgi moms who sent Teg baby gifts, such as the Hershey's Bar squeak toy!

Oooo... Poor baby! Mom tells me that my mother, Mist, had an allergic reaction one time to a wasp sting and was itching and swelling and got hives. The vet she called (we are an hours drive to one) told her to give her some benadryl (25 mg. - 1 dose per 10 lbs.) and that helped her right away.

Did the vet warn you that since she has had a reaction this time, that it could be much worse if she gets whatever caused it again? You will need to let anyone know whenever you take her in. OC from Country Corgis

Poor Teggie. Glad she's better. Sometimes a vitamin C will help those ears go back up, especially when teething. Mine get 500 mg for life. ^..^

"Sorry to hear about her incident w/ the vaccine! Hope they're able to identify what caused it and there's a substitute she can go on in the future. Glad to see that she's all better now though :)"

Teggie is such a darlin' girl...and wow, what a personality for photos! Lucky you to have such a sweet corgi. I'll just adore her from afar.

I'm glad she is feeling better. She is such a doll. I was having dinner with my Corgi-owning friends last night and their Corgi sat on the couch with me while we watched the American Idol pre-finale show. She was shedding and I was wearing black velvet sweats...oops! :)
